1981000 Delta Faucet Hex Wrench Tool

Just what I needed to remove hot and cold cartridges from my old Jacuzzi tub. I did not need it to go down to the angled faces of the nut, it removed the nut very easily by grabbing the upper rounded part of the nut. Surprise! Very easy.

The profile will not fit into the cavity to turn the nut so I had to use a mallet force it down to "conform" to the nut profile on the open ends of the part. It'd both good and bad that it's not entirely rigid...good in that it will conform if forced to somewhat by pound it down to "grab" the nut and bad in that you need to use a wrench to turn it and when you do that it will torque the part and twist it and will deform.
